For My Child

Lord, I bring my child to You. You loved this child before I ever did. Watch over them where I can't. Guard their heart, their mind, their friendships, and their choices. Grow in my child honesty, kindness, courage, and a faith that is truly their own. When they struggle, let them know they are never alone. When they fall, help them get back up. And give me wisdom, patience, and the right words as their parent. Whatever the future holds, let my child always know how deeply they are loved. Amen.
